KEITH spent more than 30 years working in the IT industry and now runs an online Antiques & Collectables business specialising in dog collectables. He is a former member of the English Setter Association committee, where he also served as Treasurer from 1995-2000. He commenced judging in 1982, first awarded CCs in English Setters in 1990 and judges all Gundog breeds at Open Show level.

CHERRYL is a former Secretary of the East Riding Gundog Club, a former Secretary of Hull City Show, and former committee member of the Northern English Setter Society. She now serves on the committee of the Field Spaniel Society, where she is also the Editor of the Newsletter, the Health Officer and the webmaster of the Breed Club website. She commenced judging in 1981, first awarded CCs in English Setters in 1992, and judges all Gundog breeds at Open Show level.

They bought their first ENGLISH SETTER in 1973 and started showing in 1974, with the first litter being bred in 1977. In 1991, the first FIELD SPANIEL joined their kennel. They have bred or owned Show Champions in both breeds, with numerous other CC-winning dogs in their kennels. Nowadays, the number of English Setters in the kennel tend to be relatively few, with no current plans to breed further litters of English Setters, although they continue to breed and show the Field Spaniels. All breeding stock are checked under the relevant health schemes.
